Stichting Domino Foundation Dominican Republic (KvK 82358125) is responsible for processing personal data as described in this privacy statement. We process as little data as possible and never sell your data to third parties.

Which data do we process?

Contact form, Domino Shipping requests and orders When you fill out a form, we process your name, email address, optional phone number and place of residence, and the content of your message. For a Domino Shipping request, the phone number is required and we also process the delivery location in the Dominican Republic. For an order on the sales page, we additionally process your WhatsApp number, arrival and departure dates, accommodation address (hotel or Airbnb), and the item numbers. We use this data solely to answer and handle your question, request, or order.

Donations Donations are made via a bank transfer or an external payment platform (such as PayPal). We do not store payment details ourselves. For a bank transfer, we see your name and account number on our bank statement; we retain this data according to the legal (tax) retention periods.

Newsletter We only use your email address to send you updates if you sign up for this. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

Statistics

We use privacy-friendly website statistics without marketing cookies and without individual visitors being traceable.

How long do we retain data?

• Messages via forms: up to 2 years after handling.
• Shipping requests: up to 2 years after the last shipment, unless a longer legal period applies.
• Orders: up to 2 years after handling.
• Financial data: 7 years (legal tax retention obligation).

With whom do we share data?

Only with parties necessary for our services, such as the email service that delivers form messages and the bank or payment provider that processes donations. Where required, we sign a data processing agreement with processors. We do not share data beyond these purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can also object to the processing or withdraw your consent. To do so, send an email to dominofoundationdr@gmail.com. Are you not satisfied with how we handle your data? Then you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
